Our Services

LDSFormalWear.com allows users to sell formal wear free of charge with a standard listing and charges a fee for featured listings and/or dresses priced above $300. LDSFormalWear.com does not participate in the actual transaction of buying and selling items. Customers contact the seller to arrange for the purchase of dresses listed for sale. If you ever have a dispute with one or more users of LDSFormalWear.com, you release LDSFormalWear.com from any and all demands, claims, damages and legal fees acquired out of any disputes.

Quality of Dresses

LDSFormalWear.com expects users to accurately describe the dress listed. If we feel that a user is being dishonest or in any way deceitful or omitting information we may remove the listing at any time with or without notice to the seller.

Your Account

Listing a dress on LDSFormalWear.com is free for a standard listing, there is a fee for a featured listing. When listing a dress you will be asked to supply certain information such as name, address, email address and phone number. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YOU CAN ONLY USE THIS SERVICE WITH AND UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF YOUR PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

Buying a Dress

LDSFormalWear.com does not participate in the actual transaction of buying and selling items. Our website is to be used solely for the purpose of connecting sellers with interested buyers. We do our best to ensure the accuracy of the listings however; we have no control over the quality, size or description of advertised gowns. We cannot ensure that each transaction will be completed nor do we transfer any legal ownership between parties. If you ever have a dispute with one or more users of LDSFormalWear.com, you release LDSFormalWear.com from any and all demands, claims, damages and legal fees acquired out of any disputes.

Selling a Dress

LDSFormalWear.com does not participate in the actual transaction of buying and selling items. Our website is to be used solely for the purpose of connecting sellers with interested buyers. You must legally be able to sell the dress you list for sale. You must describe your item to the best of your ability using the format provided. Your description must not be false, inaccurate or misleading. Providing a photograph of the dress may help speed up your sale. The photo must not infringe on any copyrights. Do not submit photos of people other than yourself. By submitting a photograph you grant LDSFormalWear.com full rights and permission to use the photographs on our site(s). Listing of a dress does not guarantee we will post it on our website. We reserve the right to decline or remove your listing at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right to make and/or adjust limits on dress prices and number of listings per customer. We reserve the right to edit, decline or remove your listing at any time and for any reason. We cannot ensure that each transaction will be completed nor do we transfer any legal ownership between parties.

Featured Listings and Dresses above $300

LDSFormalwear.com charges a fee for featured listings and/or dresses priced above $300. Fees are collected through an independent paypal account. Featured listings will only appear in the selected featured placement after payments have been cleared. Featured listings are featured for 30 days at a time. Thirty days begin from the date the listing is placed in the featured spot. We reserve the right to edit, decline or remove your listing at any time and for any reason without refunding your featured listing fee. We resevre the right to change the featured listing fee or length of time a listing can be featured at any time. There are several featured listings available for each dress size to limit competition and highten exposure for our sellers. We reserve the right to change the number of featured listings available at any time.

Payments and Ownership

All payments and ownership transfer of items are handled between the buyer and seller. While LDSFormalWear.com may offer suggestions on how to complete a transaction, LDSFormalWear.com is in no way involved in the payment process or transfer of ownership. We remind you to be cautious when accepting and making payments with the other party. We are not responsible for any loss occurred while completing transactions with our users. By using our site you agree to release LDSFormalWear.com from any and all demands, claims, damages and legal fees acquired out of any disputes.

Content and Conduct

We do our best to monitor content and images.LDSFormalWear.com is not responsible for content or images posted by our users. All content and images posted are the responsibility of the user who originally posted that content. If we find anything deemed inappropriate it will be removed immediately. Please contact us if you find questionable content that needs to be removed.

Your conduct on LDSFormalWear.com should not in any way be deceptive or misleading, contain any solicitation, foul language, or offensive material. We may edit and or remove your listing at any time for any reason.

Business Listings/Advertisements

Businesses advertising on LDS FormalWear.com are subject to the following terms and conditions. By submitting payment for an advertisement, businesses agree to be bound by these terms. Any respectable business is welcome to advertise on LDS FormalWear. All advertisements are subject to approval and we may reject your request for advertisement for any reason. Advertisements will be published on LDS FormalWear when payments have been received and cleared. Business Listing agreements last for one year from the published date for each advertisement and no refunds will be given.

Premium Listing advertisements are listed in a featured section of LDS FormalWear providing customers with your business name, web address, physical address and phone number along with a brief description of services.

Standard Listing advertisements are listed in a general section of LDS FormalWear providing customers with your business name, physical address and phone number.

Privacy Policy

We do not sell, lease or give your personal information to any third parties. By selling a dress on our site, you make your email address and zip code available to those interested in purchasing your dress. Parties interested in buying dresses agree to use the sellers contact information for the sole purpose of completing the transaction and not for any other use. In addition, any personal information sellers receive from those parties interested in buying an item agree to use that contact information for the sole purpose of completing the transaction and not for any other use.
